Is the Suzuki V-strom 1000 a good dual-sport motorcycle? - v strom accessories
I agree with Scott M. This is not an off-road bike, if that's what you want, but it is a very competent team for all types of roads and rough terrain some materials. The 650 is lighter and slightly more meneuverable, but 1000 will be able to sue over lamb and equipment long distances, without paying. If you are bigger, the 1000 is probably the best option. One more thing. There are two good sports bikes there but for the money that the V-Strom is a lot of bike! Go to a dealer and sit on them, and maybe a walk and see how they feel.

Check advrider.com first. This is a very popular assembly. For some reason, however, seem to many people on the 650 version, often nicknamed the "Wee who want to stream."
As with many sports has two meanings, depending on what you do. Do you want more than one type of DR-Z400 for DUALSPORT or more than one type of dual sport BMW R1200GS? In any case, will tend more to the 1200GS, it will be more towards the highway off-road driving biased. That said, I have not heard many complaints about them.
The Big Power is a motorcycle, fire roads and rough pavement. It is the intention of the true "horse Woods. Many people, like the model is 650 better because it lighter and less bulky.
My friend has one and says he wants to off-road. Although it is difficult, on the gravel, where they receive a high center of gravity.
